हरिः सृजानः पथ्यां ऋतस्य इयर्ति वाचम् अरिता इव नावम्। देवः देवानाम् गुह्यानि नाम आविः कृणोति बर्हिषि प्रवाचे॥

Refined English Translation:
The Supreme God, manifesting Himself, delivers divine speech (spiritual knowledge) that leads on the righteous path of truth. Just as a boatman carries one across in a boat, likewise, that God of all gods ferries souls across the ocean of the material world. He reveals the secret naams (mantras). He explains it through discourses, that is, by speaking and narrating.
Interpretation According to the Teachings of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj:
This Rigveda mantra reveals that the Supreme God Himself appears in a visible form and speaks divine knowledge to guide souls on the path of true devotion (Satbhakti). He is likened to a boatman, symbolizing the Liberator, who ferries the soul across the ocean of birth and death.
This Supreme Being (Devanam Devah – God of all gods) discloses secret mantras (Guhyani Naam). He explains it through discourses, that is, by speaking and narrating (Barhishi Pravache).
These secret mantras are none other than the mantras referenced in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17, Verse 23 – "Om Tat Sat", where 'Tat' and 'Sat' are hidden mantras given only by the Supreme God through a Tatvadarshi Saint.
