What is Moksha and How to attain it?

Understanding Moksha: The Path to True Liberation

Moksha — a term widely mentioned in spiritual circles — is often misunderstood or vaguely defined. Many associate it with freedom from the cycle of birth and death, but few truly know how to achieve it. Drawing insights from the most revered scriptures and the teachings of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, this article explores the real meaning of Moksha and the precise path to attain it.

What Is Moksha?

Moksha, also referred to as liberation or salvation, is the state where a soul is permanently freed from the continuous cycle of life and death (rebirth). It is not just a spiritual milestone but the ultimate goal of every living being. Attaining Moksha means reaching an eternal realm beyond suffering, where there is only peace, bliss, and oneness with the Supreme Power.

But Moksha is not the end of existence — it is the beginning of true life in Satlok, the eternal and immortal realm of the Supreme God, far above the perishable material worlds.

Can Moksha Be Attained by Any Path?

The simple answer is: No. While many believe that charity, meditation, austerity, or rituals can lead to Moksha, the sacred scriptures contradict this notion.

The Bhagavad Gita — one of the most authoritative spiritual texts — repeatedly emphasizes that Moksha cannot be achieved without the guidance of a Tatvadarshi Saint (a God-realized spiritual master). This saint has full knowledge of the Supreme God, His name, the eternal abode (Satlok), and the exact method of worship that aligns with all holy scriptures.

Who Is a Tatvadarshi Saint?

The term “Tatvadarshi” comes from Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4, Verse 34, where the speaker (a deity) instructs Arjun to seek out such a saint to understand the true spiritual path. A Tatvadarshi Saint knows the difference between the perishable gods of the material realms and the eternal Supreme Being who resides in Satlok.

According to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, who is recognized as a Tatvadarshi Saint in our era, only a saint with complete knowledge of all holy scriptures can provide the mantras and method that lead a soul to Moksha.

How to Attain Moksha: The Three Essential Steps

  1. Identify the True Tatvadarshi Saint Based on scriptural evidence, a true saint will not only give spiritual discourses aligned with the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Quran, Bible, and Guru Granth Sahib but will also impart a three-stage mantra — a coded form of divine knowledge that leads to salvation.

  2. Receive True Initiation (Satnaam & Saarnaam) Moksha is impossible without initiation from a Tatvadarshi Saint. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provides this initiation free of cost to seekers, revealing the true mantras that reconnect the soul with the Supreme Power, God Kabir, who lives in Satlok.

  3. Follow the Scripturally Approved Path of Worship Mere rituals and blind faith cannot break the cycle of rebirth. Only the true mantras, daily recitation, and ethical conduct (as guided by the Saint) can purify the soul and prepare it to leave this realm and reach the eternal kingdom of God.

Why Is This Knowledge Rare?

Because many spiritual leaders today lack complete scriptural understanding, most paths being preached are incomplete or misaligned with the original texts. Even in the Bhagavad Gita, the speaker (who is not the Supreme God) admits in Chapter 15, Verse 16-17, that he himself is subject to birth and death (Gita 4.5, 4.9), and above him is the Eternal Supreme God.

This truth is only understood when a Tatvadarshi Saint decodes these scriptures correctly — as done by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

Conclusion: Moksha Is Possible, But Only Through the Right Guide

Moksha is not a myth, nor is it a concept reserved for sages of the past. It is a living reality that can be attained in this lifetime. But it requires seeking refuge in a Tatvadarshi Saint, receiving true mantras, and following the path of devotion as per scriptural guidelines.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, through his deep knowledge and interpretation of all major scriptures, is helping souls all over the world reconnect with the Supreme God and attain Moksha. Those who genuinely seek salvation should learn more about his teachings and begin their journey toward eternal liberation.
