Does God get the title of a Poet and roam the earth?

Does God get the title of a Poet and roam the earth?

Does God Roam the earth as a Poet? What do the Vedas say about this?

Answer: Yes. According to the Vedas, the Supreme God, who is eternal, indestructible, and the Creator of all, comes to Earth and behaves like a poet to deliver divine knowledge in poetic verses.

Vedic References:

1. Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 94, Mantra 1

Sanskrit:

अधि यदअस्मिन्वाजिनीव शुभ: स्पर्धन्ते धिय: सूर्ये न विश:
अपो वृणानः पवते कवीयन्व्रजं न पशुवर्धनाय मन्म

Translation: The verse mentions that the Supreme God behaves like a poet and wanders on earth.

2. Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 96, Mantra 17

Translation: The Supreme God conveys His Tattvagyan (काव्येना) through poetry, in the form of couplets, sayings, hymns, and verses, (कविर् गीर्भिः) i.e. through Kabir Vani (the divine speech of Kabir Sahib).

3. Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 96, Mantra 18

ऋषिम्ना या ऋषिकृत् स्वर्षाः सहस्रणीथः पदवीः कवीनाम्
तृतीयं धाम महिषः शिशा सन्त् सोमः विराजमाणो रजति स्तूपः।।

Translation: The Supreme God imparts Tattvagyan (true spiritual knowledge) through His divine speech (Vani), appearing in the form of a sage (Rishi) to deliver it. His teachings, known as Kabir Vani, exist in thousands of verses and are cherished by saintly devotees, bringing great joy to those with spiritual insight. Because He conveys His knowledge in poetic form, He is revered as a great poet. This immortal Supreme God, desiring the well-being of all, resides in the highest divine realm (Satlok), shining with radiant divine light within a celestial dome, ruling over all universes.

What This Means:

  • The Supreme God (Kavir Dev) becomes renowned as a divine poet who uses poetry to deliver truth, refute ignorance, and guide souls on the path to salvation.
  • This knowledge is not just symbolic; it was manifested in 1398 CE when God Kabir appeared on a lotus flower and gave true gyan (spiritual knowledge) in poetic verses like Kabir Vani, Sakhis, and Shabds.

✅ Conclusion:

Yes, God does roam as a poet, as confirmed in Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 94, Mantra 1 and other related mantras. He appears in human form, roams the Earth, and gives divine wisdom in poetic form to guide humanity. This aligns perfectly with the life and teachings of God Kabir, who is described in the Vedas as Kavir Dev – the poetic, compassionate, and ever-liberating Supreme God.
